Wilhelmina UTG to Hold Free Open Casting Call with Top Agents from New York and L.A.

Be seen and get discovered at the Wilhelmina Agency Audition and Review

Wilhelmina Inc, one of the largest modeling agencies in the world, is coming to Utah to give aspiring actors and models a chance to audition with top agents from New York and L.A. They will hold a free open casting call at the Wilhelmina Agency Audition and Review, on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The talent management agency is looking for both male and female modeling and acting hopefuls, age six and up. Celtic Productions will be at the casting call to interview those who try out, creating a fun, reality TV-style atmosphere. They will produce a video about the event based on the footage they collect.

The agents attending have a collective total of over 60 years experience working in the L.A., New York and Salt Lake City markets. Their extensive background in T.V., film, print, commercial and high fashion modeling make this the biggest event of year for talent hopefuls to find a place within the entrainment industry.
“This is a rare opportunity to get in front of high powered agents who book talent with the biggest client names in the country including Abercrombie and Fitch, Shape Magazine, Men’s Fitness, Disney and Nickelodeon just to name a few,” says Chad Milton, Wilhelmina UTG’s president. “In an industry where who you know is just as important as what you know, this is the event you need to be at.”

The Wilhelmina Agency Audition and Review will take place at Wilhelmina UTG headquarters, located at 6415 South 3000 East, Suite 100, in Salt Lake City.

Hopefuls should bring a portfolio or just a snapshot of themselves. Those who are under 18 need to bring a parent to the audition. Applicants will have a chance to interview with the agents and participate in audition exercises. Only two guests are allowed per applicant due to limited seating. All experience levels are welcome. Fitness enthusiasts are also invited to try out. For more information about the auditions, call Wilhelmina UTG at (801) 456-1500.
